Twig is an app made specifically for the Botany, Chemistry, and Microbiology courses at Cal Poly, SLO. It is designed for students in these courses to create an account and record information about plant samples found out in the field or analyzed in lab. The information about each plant is stored in Twig by scanning a barcode provided by the professor and filling out a course form. Twig ultimately provides a collaborative environment for scientific data to be collected, stored and analyzed between all three courses.
